This Privacy Policy describes how Harness LLC("Harness," "we," "us") collects and uses information when you use Harness at harnessops.co and related hiring, onboarding, and supervisor lifecycle services. When you apply to a manufacturing plant that uses Harness, that plant is the hiring employer; Harness provides recruiting and workforce software on the plant's behalf.
Information we collect
- Contact information — name, email address, and mobile phone number.
- SMS and messaging data — message content you send or receive through our text programs, delivery metadata, and timestamps of your opt-in consent.
- Application and employment data — job application responses, screening call recordings and transcripts, interview notes, onboarding status, and supervisor check-in responses.
- Account data — for plant managers and administrators: login credentials, organization settings, and usage logs.
- Technical data — device/browser type, IP address, and cookies used to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Run the hiring pipeline — applications, phone screening, and manager review.
- Send supervisor check-ins, crew pulse surveys, and manager alerts via SMS.
- Deliver onboarding packets, offer letters, and one-time passcodes (OTP).
- Notify hiring managers when candidates are ready for review.
- Improve product quality, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
SMS program — sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We use service providers such as Twilio solely to deliver SMS messages on our behalf. They may process your phone number and message content only as needed to provide that delivery service.
SMS choices
Message frequency varies by program and role. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing or recurring texts (where applicable). Reply HELP for help. For program terms, see our Terms of Service.
Retention and security
We retain information as long as needed to provide the service, support hiring and employment decisions for the plant, and meet legal obligations. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the data we handle.
