Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Harness, operated by Harness LLC at harnessops.co. By using our website, applying for jobs, or opting in to SMS messages, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
SMS program
Program name: Harness
Sender identity: Messages are sent by Harness LLC on behalf of manufacturing plants that use our platform. Your phone may display a Harness or plant-associated number depending on the program.
Message types by audience:
- Candidates — application confirmations, screening call reminders, rescheduling replies, interview scheduling, and offer-related messages.
- Supervisors — weekly check-in links, crew pulse surveys, clarity self-evaluations, and shift-report prompts.
- Managers — candidate review alerts, drifting-team flags, onboarding readiness reminders, and operational notifications.
SMS program terms
- Frequency: Message frequency varies by program and activity level.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel recurring texts from a program. You may receive a one-time confirmation. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent: For job applicants, consent to receive automated texts is not required as a condition of applying or being considered for employment.
- Carrier: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, or interfere with other users. Plant administrators are responsible for how they use candidate and employee data within their organization.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." Harness does not guarantee hiring outcomes, employment decisions, or uninterrupted SMS delivery. Employment decisions are made by the hiring plant, not Harness.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harness LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid Harness in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you are a free user.
Paid subscription
Plant administrators who subscribe to the Harness platform agree to the Harness Order Form at checkout.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
